Medical Biller

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time position on-site with Work from Home eligibility

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (Weekends Off!)

Language: Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish is required

Education: High School Diploma is required.

College degree preferred in Accounting.

Medical Insurance Billing Certificate preferred.

Work Experience: At least 2 years experience as a Data Entry Clerk.

Requirements:

• Medical Insurance terminology.

• Excellent computer skills, 10-key and typing.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Knowledge of claims and billing regulations, medical terminology.

• Good public relations and interpersonal relations skills.

• Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment in problem solving and decision- making; ability to meditate and resolve conflicts successfully.

• Mayor duties and responsibilities:

• Review charges submitted by providers from PMD software.

• Prep charges from PMD Approved to Queued.

• Verify Patient Demographics, Eligibility and Validity of charges by checking face sheets,

• operative reports, consult reports, and diagnostic reports from designated hospital.

• Required to register new patients in Nextgen.

• Load charges once the above task is completed.

• Before end of day, run/review the Daily Balancing Report.

• Process assigned Collector Work log Tasking List assigned for Billing Edit Corrections.
